Shamrock Slate Project

Make your guests feel right at home with an Irish Welcome!

Materials Used:

#4196S – Failte (Irish Welcome) - $6.00

#4021 – Shamrocks - $2.00

7” Tall x 8” Shamrock Slate - $8.00

Paint Kit – $7.50 (Colors used: #2 Raw Linen, #67 Grey Green, #66 Sage)

Directions:

Wipe off the surface of the slate to remove dust. Paint with 2-3 coats of Raw Linen paint, following the rough edge of the slate and leaving about a ¼” rough edge all around. Dry thoroughly in between coats.

Center stencil #4196S (Failte) on the slate. Be sure that when it hangs, the word will be level. The shamrock slates hang slightly tilted to one side. Stencil words with Grey Green.

Then stencil assorted shamrocks from #4021 with Sage Green. Lightly shade these shamrocks with Grey Green. You may arrange these shamrocks any way that you wish.

With a very dry stencil brush or sponge, lightly dust around the painted edge of the slate with Grey Green.
